Kim Osmars is the Chief Operating Officer of TerraForm Power and is responsible for all operations of the company. 

With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Osmars brings a deep operating expertise to his role having held a number of leadership roles at both TerraForm Power as well as Brookfield Renewable Partners, where he helped the companies achieve track records of driving value through growth initiatives, cost savings, business development and mitigating risks inclusive of his supervision of the Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) function.

He joined TerraForm Power in October 2017 as Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Brookfield Renewable Partners from June 2016 to October 2017. Prior to June 2016, he served as the Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) – West, for Brookfield Renewable Partners, where he was accountable for the safe and effective operations of hydro and wind generating assets, and the project development and construction of new renewable energy initiatives in the western half of North America. Kim was appointed to this position in May 2014. 

Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lakehead University and a Masters of Business Administration from York University.
